Conviction

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.

Moses felt that the children of Israel would not believe.
He tells it to God .Its always the thing to do. Tell God

God finds a solution He always does
The solution is in doing a miracle before Moses
After the miracle Moses is ready to go My point is this Moses was speaking of convincing the people when the solution came it came in the absence of the people
so who was to be convinced ?was it the people ?
No .Moses was the one who needed to be convinced

Jesus in the boat 1

Mark 4:35 to —–

Jesus leads the way in this mighty war  against the elements of nature.

When Jesus leads there is victory – always.

This one fact remains and that is Jesus must lead.All true Christians know this one fact ,that they are called to be followers of the One who called them.

The disciples in the boat were those who had followed HIM.The time was not the most favourable to launch a mission trip.

The disciples were not informed why Jesus was going there.All they heard was let us pass over onto the other side.

Discipleship is above all following  and wholeheartedly.

God Enables Obedience

God asked Hosea to do something and he did it.

When he did it God made sure that it worked.

There is great help and support in obedience.

Hosea married a whore and she gave birth to boys and girls for him

That was amazing that a whore should stay steady with a prophet  .

GOD 

Mark of a Spiritual man

 

 

David in Psalm 3 offers a wonderful picture of a spiritual man.

He sees reality and says it He hears reality and says it and then in vs 3 HE says what God is.

That is one sure mark of a man who is spiritual.

He sees reality and hears reality But He knows the greatest  reality  which is that God was good to HIM

He sees the reality of God above his circumstances.

 

Clarity and Guilt

Josephs first encounter with his brethren after he was lifted up to be governor of Egypt is notable.

Genesis 43 onwards gives us some insights into this.

The brethren did not recognise Joseph but he did.

When Joseph showed his tough mentality to them his brothers remembered their brother and his anguished cry .

Strange that they should remember that then.

They have come from a famine and never felt like this .

At Josephs presence their guilt  surfaced and their sight was marred.This is a vision of how christians are.

Their guilt remains and they cannot see the ONE whose presence they are in

Joseph himself breaks the mystery of his presence to his brethren.

We are in the presence  of some one greater than Joseph .To Him has all authority been given

Guilt could be marring our vision.

May He reveal Himself

Salvation and restoration are near

To HIM be the glory

Transfer

 

 

 

We have different levels of understanding and transfer

We understand and transfer food to the body 

We understand and transfer knowledge to the intellect 

We may not understand but through faith have heaven transferred to our spirit In Christ Jesus

Lord I receive it Thank you

 

 

 

Faith

Faith is not what you can do Faith is not your ability or your confidence

IT IS LOOKING AT JESUS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH

Looking at Jesus is

1.Looking at His Word

2.Looking at What He reveals to us through His Word

3.Looking at What the Spirit reveals to us.

If we look at a Pastor  we will go only half a way

or maybe till where He can take us.

If we look at a church that also has limitations in itself

But to run with HIM In focus is the only sure way to finish in Victory

 

 

Are you willing?

 

If you are willing You can make me clean cried the leper to Jesus.

Jesus was just coming down from the mountain and His answer was I am willing.

Couple of years later He died on the cross showing His complete Willingness.He also cried out and said that IT IS FINISHED.

That means HE IS Forever willing

Blood

Every genuine child of God knows or must know that the Blood of  Jesus is a propitiation for their sins .

What they must realise is that this blood continues to cleanse them from all sin.

There are conditions 

1.They must walk in the light as He is in the light 

as a result

They have fellowship with one another

AND

the blood of Jesus cleanses them from all sin.

If we do not walk in the light as He is in the light ——————————

our sins are not being cleansed.

 

Be Built and Build with HIM

God will build and is building.

A vision is given by God and is to be fulfilled within a time

A vision is not to be stolen

A vision belongs to the Visionary

Gods original plan for the New Testament is that  of a Team.

What Christ did by Himself  is to be done by His Body in every generation.

Some are His hands some His Legs and all need to work together through His Glory for His Glory

All the apostles were together on the day of pentecost and none was lesser than the other.They all had the opportunity to do their part,

3.Be seperated 

separation from the World is mandatory for all believers .They need to obey their Lord in all according to what they hear Him telling them

For a person being built and building with the Lord a deeper separation is mandatory according to what the Lord tells Him.

Our calling is from God and we are to be separated unto HIM

We are to be available unto HIM

We are HIS and to be HIS at all times
